So I created my own personal website.

**Website:**

https://mohittt-vermaa.github.io/

**GitHub:**

https://github.com/mohittt-vermaa

## Why I Built a Personal Website

A GitHub profile is useful for showing code, but I wanted a central place for my projects, interests, and development journey.

My website gives me a simple online home for my work.

The idea is:

**Website → Projects → GitHub → Articles**

This makes it easier for someone interested in my work to discover the different things I'm building and learning.

## Building With GitHub Pages

I used GitHub Pages to host the website.

The website is connected to my GitHub repository:

`mohittt-vermaa.github.io`

This allows me to keep the website's code in GitHub while using GitHub Pages to publish it.

## What I Included

The website contains sections for:

- About me

- Projects

- Skills and interests

- Online profiles

- Contact/online links

One of the projects highlighted on the site is MLBox.

## Adding Basic SEO

I also wanted search engines to understand what the website is about.

So I added basic SEO elements such as:

- A descriptive page title

- Meta description

- Canonical URL

- `robots.txt`

- `sitemap.xml`

- Open Graph metadata

- Structured data

I also added a Schema.org `Person` structure to describe the website owner and connect relevant public profiles.

## Connecting My Online Profiles

My goal isn't simply to create lots of separate accounts.

Instead, I want my genuine profiles and projects to point toward each other.

For example:

**Personal Website**

↓

**GitHub**

↓

**MLBox**

↓

**Technical Articles**

This creates a consistent online portfolio around my actual work.

## What I Learned

Building the website taught me that web development isn't only about writing HTML and CSS.

I also learned about:

- GitHub Pages

- Domains and URLs

- SEO basics

- Structured data

- Site maps

- Robots.txt

- Responsive design

- Accessibility

- Maintaining a public project

## What's Next?

I want to continue improving the website as I build more projects.

Instead of filling it with things I haven't actually done, I'll update it gradually with real projects, articles, experiments, and things I've learned.

You can visit my website here:

https://mohittt-vermaa.github.io/

And find my projects here:

https://github.com/mohittt-vermaa

Thanks for reading.

For me, that project is MLBox.

GitHub repository:

https://github.com/mohittt-vermaa/mlbox

What Is MLBox?

MLBox is a project I'm developing while learning Python, software development, and machine-learning-related concepts.

Rather than treating it as a finished product, I see MLBox as part of my learning journey.

The project gives me a place to experiment with code and gradually improve my understanding of how software projects are built.

Why I Started It

When learning programming, tutorials can teach individual concepts, but projects introduce problems that don't always appear in tutorials.

For example:

How should files be organized?

How should different parts of a program communicate?

How do I find bugs?

How should dependencies be handled?

How can I make code easier to understand?

How do I document what I've built?

Working on MLBox gives me an opportunity to learn these things through practice.

What I'm Learning From the Project

1. Python

Python is one of the main technologies I'm learning.

I'm using projects to become more comfortable with Python syntax, modules, functions, libraries, and project organization.

2. Debugging

Bugs are a normal part of programming.

When something doesn't work, I have to understand the error, identify the cause, test a solution, and check whether the change actually fixes the problem.

This has taught me that debugging is an important programming skill.

3. GitHub

I use GitHub to manage and share my code.

It also gives me experience with concepts such as repositories, commits, branches, and project documentation.

4. Learning From Mistakes

Not everything works on the first attempt.

Sometimes code needs to be changed, reorganized, or completely reconsidered.

I've learned that mistakes are useful when I understand why they happened.

What I Want to Improve

As I continue working on MLBox, I want to improve:

Code quality

Documentation

Project structure

Testing

Python skills

Machine-learning knowledge

Software-development practices

Follow the Project

You can follow the project and see its current state here:

https://github.com/mohittt-vermaa/mlbox

My GitHub profile:

https://github.com/mohittt-vermaa

I'll continue updating the project as I learn.

Next: I'll write about how I built my personal developer website and connected my online projects and profiles together.

I started learning programming because I wanted to understand how software works and how developers turn ideas into working applications.

## Learning by Building

While learning programming, I realized that simply reading about programming concepts wasn't enough for me.

I wanted to build things, make mistakes, find bugs, and understand how real projects are organized.

That's one of the reasons I started working on **MLBox**.

MLBox is one of the projects I'm using to explore software development and machine-learning-related concepts while improving my programming skills.

You can find the project on my GitHub:

**MLBox:**

https://github.com/mohittt-vermaa/mlbox

## What I'm Learning

Through projects like MLBox, I'm learning about:

- Python programming

- Machine Learning

- Software development

- Git and GitHub

- Debugging

- Project structure

- Documentation

- Linux and development environments

I'm still learning, so I don't consider myself an expert. My goal is to understand these technologies step by step by actually using them.

## Why I Use GitHub

GitHub has become an important part of my learning process.

I use it to store projects, experiment with code, track changes, find bugs, and learn how software projects are developed.

My GitHub profile:

https://github.com/mohittt-vermaa

## My Personal Website

I also created a personal website where I can bring my projects and online profiles together.

Website:

https://mohittt-vermaa.github.io/

The website acts as a central place for information about my interests, projects, and coding journey.

## What's Next?

I'm planning to continue building projects and learning more about Python, AI, Machine Learning, web development, and open-source software.

This is still the beginning of my journey.

Instead of trying to learn everything at once, I want to keep building, experimenting, and improving one project at a time.

Thanks for reading.
